| DIGITAL PRINTING vs. SCREEN PRINTING: |
What's the difference between screen printing vs. digital printing?
SCREEN PRINTING is your traditional printed style t-shirt.
Colors: Generally spot colors are used in screen printing. Custom colors can also be mixed to match certain colors if needed.
Fabric/Garments: Screen printing can be printed on almost any type of fabric without too many problems.
Ink Quality: We use a plastisol type of ink. It is what one would generally find on standard styles sports jerseys, concert shirts, etc.
Art/Designs: Sharp, crisp line-drawing artwork style is best used for this. Artwork with blends, halftones, gradients usually do not lend itself well to screen printing.
DIGITAL PRINTING can produce photo-quality like images.
Colors: Unlimited amount of colors can be used.
Fabric/Garments: We recommend white or light colored garments for best quality. Also, digital printing can only be used on 100% cotton material.
Ink Quality: Our digital printer uses an ink that has a soft, "no-feel" effect where it's hard to tell by touch that anything's even printed on the garment.
Art/Designs: Any type of high quality images (300 dpi), photo's and graphics although some low-resolution images quite often turn out just fine.

| CREATING & SENDING FILES: |
What type of files do I need to create/send?
SCREEN PRINTING
More than 1-color:
Adobe Illustrator (VECTOR art: .ai or .eps files), editable Adobe Acrobat .pdf's and/or CorelDraw files, although a simple Illustrator file is preferred.
1-color:
Adobe Illustrator, HIGH RESOLUTION (300 dpi) Adobe Photoshop files (.jpg, .psd, .tiff), Adobe Acroabt pdf's and/or CorelDraw files, although again, Adobe Illustrator is preferred.
DIGITAL PRINTING
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop (LAYERED), editable Adobe Acrobat pdf's and/or CorelDraw files, although Illustrator is preferred.
IMPORTANT NOTE(s)
Fonts: Please convert/rasterize all fonts or supply them when sending us the files. If this cannot be done, please try to find out what fonts were used.
Adobe Photoshop files: "HIGH RESOLUTION:" If your original file is a standard low-resolution web image (72 dpi) - you CANNOT open it and make it 300 dpi - this will not change the final quality that we need to print from. Rule of thumb ... "Once low-res - Always low-res."
Adobe Illustrator files: If your Illustrator file contains another image (Photoshop, tiff file, etc.) please supply that original file also in case we need to open and edit it.
.JPEG's: If you only have a jpeg or an image off the web for your design - it more than likely will be low resolution and will effect the final quality when printed. Also, if it's a multi-colored jpeg and your job requires multi-colors, then then there's a good chance we will not be able to work with or re-create your art exactly as you'd like. Plus, (depending on complexity) an additional design charge may may be added on.

No. Unless, you specifically ask us create it AND pay for the artwork to be done, Squeegee Bros owns the right to the digital files.
